These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of portfoliohomerealty.com (the "Site"), operated by Portfolio Home Realty, Inc., a licensed California real estate brokerage (DRE #02232009). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes related to buying or selling residential real estate. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in any unauthorized way.

Estimates and calculators — important disclaimer

The calculators, quizzes, estimators, and other interactive tools on the Site are provided for general educational purposes only. All figures — including affordability, monthly payments, closing costs, rebate amounts, rent-versus-buy results, down-payment program eligibility, and similar outputs — are estimates, not guarantees of actual costs, payments, eligibility, loan terms, or outcomes. They do not constitute lending, financial, tax, or legal advice. Actual numbers depend on your specific circumstances and third-party terms. Always consult a licensed professional before making decisions.

Rebate information

Any reference to a cash-back rebate describes a portion of the buyer-side commission that Portfolio Home Realty may credit to a client, subject to a signed representation agreement, lender approval, and applicable law. Rebates are not available in every transaction and specific amounts are determined at closing. Nothing on the Site is an offer or guarantee of a rebate in any particular transaction.

No agency relationship

Using the Site or its tools does not by itself create a real estate agency, brokerage, or fiduciary relationship. A representation relationship begins only upon a signed written agreement between you and Portfolio Home Realty.

Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, text, and graphics are owned by or licensed to Portfolio Home Realty and are protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute Site content without our permission.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties.

Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Portfolio Home Realty is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any estimate or information provided through it.

Fair housing

Portfolio Home Realty supports equal housing opportunity and complies with federal and California fair housing laws. We do not discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in California.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
